Bridgebuilders Ministries is a non-denominational, non-profit organization that was founded in 1998.  It is headquartered in Woodbridge, Virginia, which is located 25 miles south of Washington, District of Columbia.

·        The focus of the ministry is to provide prayer support and words of encouragement to all those called to serve the Body of Christ in a leadership position.

·        The strategy of the ministry is to take the initiative in contacting pastors and other ministers in order to solicit prayer needs both for the organizations that they serve and for any personal needs they might have.

Often church leaders are so involved in the work of the Lord and in prayer for others that they do not request prayer from outside sources.  There may also be no opportunity to share their needs outside of their local fellowship.  Needs of a personal or confidential nature can be such that a leader would not be comfortable discussing them with their church or even with their superiors.  Bridgebuilders Ministries has the objective of providing additional prayer support and encouragement that is neutral and detached organizationally thus providing a safe opportunity for the leader to express their needs and concerns without possibility of exposure or organizational repercussions.
